How to Search for a Known Item

ProQuest Central: Publications Search

  • Click  the Publications tab at the top of the Advanced Search page 
  • Search on the journal name 
  • If in the database there will be a link
  • Click on the journal title link 
  • Using the Search Within This Publication box, 
  • search on author and/or keywords from the article title OR browse to your article by year, volume and page

EBSCOhost: Field limiter searches

  • change the limiter  next to the advanced search box from Select a Field to SO - Source
  • enter the journal title in the search box
  • add keywords from the citation - e.g. author name or article title in the other search boxes
